When we made the decision to add a Border Collie to our family, we were very selective in where we bought. After a year of waiting, Casey came to live at Sycamore Oaks Ranch. Casey is bred by Robyn and Mark Powley of Darkwind Border Collies, Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is a son of their Sophie, Ch Darkwind Persephone.
Casey has turned out to be the versatile dog we dreamed of having. He finished his championship at nine months of age, and has gone on to gain titles in herding, obedience, and agility, earning a "V" Award for versatility from the BCSA. In 1999 Casey traveled to Mexico City where he added to his string of titles by becoming "World Champion."
